My experience can be characterized by four things: 1. I am is a competitor. 2. I am a coach. 3. I am a builder. 4. I am a strategist.

Competitor. My foundation was forged in elite sport. A national champion and All-American rower at Princeton and U-23 National Team athlete, I went on to coach at the Division I level at Stanford, Ohio State, and Boston University, and coached three crews with the U.S. U-23 National Team. High performance, disciplined preparation, and long-game thinking aren’t concepts I teach from afar—they are standards I have lived.

Coach. My coaching philosophy is rooted in both research and lived experience. Drawing on performance psychology, positive psychology, and principles from high-performance sport, I help leaders clarify values, manage energy, upgrade decision frameworks, and elevate others without micromanaging. My work is candid, structured, and focused on behavior change that drives measurable results.

Builder. After a decade in elite athletics, I founded MDT Leadership to serve high-achieving professionals navigating expanded scope and ambiguity. I created the Performance Evolution Framework — a practical, structured pathway that helps ambitious leaders evolve from reactive doers into confident, strategic decision-makers capable of sustained excellence.

Strategist. I work at the intersection of identity and execution. I believe leadership at the next level requires more than working harder— it requires expanding self-concept, sharpening priorities, and building systems that make excellence sustainable. Through 1:1 advisory, group programs, and corporate workshops and speaking engagements, I helps leaders protect what matters, drive meaningful impact, and win the long game without sacrificing themselves in the process
